At Givents, we believe that travel and events should be more than just ticking off boxes—they should be bold, authentic, and life-enriching. Founded by Joanna Karwala and Eugene Daszewski, two passionate industry experts, Givents was born from our desire to create truly unique and memorable experiences.

We met at an Event Manager course in Warsaw, each of us at a career crossroads. Joanna, with her background as a successful restaurateur, and Eugene, a lawyer turned tourism professional, found we shared a dream: to break away from traditional paths and offer clients something fresh and extraordinary.

Joanna – one man orchestra with a Vision for Quality

Joanna’s journey in business began over a decade ago. With a strong entrepreneurial spirit, she created and expanded a popular restaurant chain that introduced kumpir, a unique Turkish-inspired baked potato dish, to the Polish market. Starting with just two employees, she grew the company into a thriving operation with six locations and a team of 40, building an entirely new product niche in Poland.

Joanna’s extensive travel background—she’s visited more than 50 countries—has given her a wealth of cultural insight and ideas that she brings to her work at Givents. With her drive and experience, she ensures that every event and travel experience we craft is seamless, fresh, and imaginative.

Eugene – The Visionary Business Builder

Eugene’s journey in tourism began with a background in law, but his true passion led him to co-found Krakow Explorers, a tour company that quickly became Kraków’s top-rated service on TripAdvisor. With an average rating of 4.9/5 and over a thousand glowing reviews, Eugene built a reputation for quality, creativity, and customer focus.

His background as a guide and ideologist in the travel industry shaped his approach to creating unforgettable experiences—ones that go beyond the usual tourist routes. Eugene is driven by a vision of premium, personalized travel that gives each client an authentic taste of Kraków, making every journey special.

As much as we each enjoyed success in our fields, we both felt the pull to grow and try something new. That’s when we came together, united by a shared vision for something truly unique—Givents (from "Give Events"). Our goal? To create travel and event experiences that are meaningful, high-quality, and built on fresh ideas. We believe that time is precious and that each moment should be filled with something extraordinary. We wanted to move away from the usual formulas, creating a company that delivers premium events and travel services to clients who crave experiences that stand out.
